- How do you prevent coupon abuse?
We generate a unique, single-use code for each customer, so even a shared code can only be used once. By default, we also prevent the same email address from receiving multiple codes from the same automation, stopping subscribe/unsubscribe abuse.
- Does this work with my email marketing platform?
Yes. We have native integrations with popular e-commerce email platforms, including Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign. For everything else, our Zapier integration connects you to hundreds of other email platforms.
- Is this a Shopify app or a WooCommerce plugin?
For Shopify, Coupon Carrier connects through an app, but there's nothing to use inside the Shopify admin. You set everything up in Coupon Carrier. For WooCommerce, we connect to your store's API using secure credentials, so there's no plugin to install. There's no theme code to edit, and nothing runs on your storefront.
- How does redemption tracking work?
When you connect your Shopify or WooCommerce store, we ask for permission to view orders. We regularly check for coupon codes that originated from our system. When we find one in a completed order, we automatically mark the code as "Used" in your Coupon Carrier reports, so you can see which campaigns led to orders.
