- Do I need to install a Shopify app?
Coupon Carrier connects to your store through an app, but there's nothing to use inside the Shopify admin. You set everything up in Coupon Carrier, and there's no theme code to edit.
- How does Coupon Carrier know if a code is redeemed?
When you connect your Shopify store, we also ask for permission to view orders. We regularly check your orders for codes that have been delivered by our system. When we find one, we automatically mark the code as 'Used' in your reports.
- Can I import my own list of Shopify discount codes?
Yes. We recommend autogenerated code lists for Shopify, but you can also create your own unique discount codes in Shopify's 'Discounts' section, export them, and import them into a manual Code List in Coupon Carrier.
